JAMMU, Nov 17: Three brothers including a retired police official were injured today in an assault case in Karwanda area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Gharota.
According to the reports, the injured were identified as Bhushan Kumar (63), retired police official Satpal (66) and Ashwani Kumar (53), all sons of late Sukh Chain Nath and residents of Karwanda (Bhalwal). They were attacked with lathies by some of their neighbours, following a quarrel over raising of ‘plinth’ on a land allegedly belonging to them.
The injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while Gharota police had taken cognizance of the matter.
