JAMMU, Mar 27: Three youth today allegedly made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a 20-year-old youth namely Daljeet Singh son of Kuldeep Singh, resident of RS Pura today consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
A young girl identified as Meenakshi (22) daughter of Dwarka Dass, resident of Akhnoor, was also shifted to GMCH after she made a vain attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
Similarly, another young girl namely Jyoti (18) daughter of Jinder, resident of Paloura also consumed some poisonous substance at her residence and is now under treatment at GMCH Jammu.
In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
