SRINAGAR: Around three dozen structures, including residential houses, have been gutted in a massive fire that broke out on Saturday in the border town of Gurez in north Kashmir district of Bandipora.
Official sources said that fire broke out in a house at Kilshey in Tulail valley in Gurez sector. “Within no time the fire engulfed other nearby wooden structures,” they said.
They said before the leaping flames were brought under control, as many as three dozen structures were gutted.
However, they said no one was injured in the incident, adding the cause of the fire was not immediately clear. (AGENCIES)
