Three drug peddlers arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Feb 5: Domana and Chatha Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma and assisted by PSI Danish Qaiser Gazali laid a naka and arrested a drug peddler along with 5 grams of heroin.
The arrested person was identified as Abhishek Choudhary, son of Kuldeep Kumar of Machine Domana, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 42/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
The arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Post Chatha led by SI Ranjit Singh Chib laid a naka and intercepted Alto car bearing registration number JK02BL-1247.
During checking, police team recovered 10.25 grams heroin from the possession of two persons travelling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Pinto Kumar alias Luddan, son of Prem Chand of RS Pura and Ashwani Kumar, son of late Girdhari Lal of Bilaspur Parlah, RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 16/2022 under Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation set into motion.
