Three drug peddlers arrested with heroin, intoxicant injections

JAMMU, May 24: Three drug peddlers have been arrested along with heroin and intoxicant injections.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station led by SI Gurupal Singh laid a naka at Kali Puli Kirpind and apprehended a drug peddler along with 8 grams heroin and Rs 2000 cash.
The arrested person has been identified as Vikas Kumar alias Pacha, son of Shanker Singh, a resident of Darsopur.
A case under FIR Number 70/19 under section 8/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a joint team of Police Post Digiana and District Special Branch Jammu during checking near Digiana Ashram arrested two pedestrians along with 435 intoxicant injections.
The accused have been identified as Tilak Raj, son of Chain Singh of Nanak Nagar and Manmohan Singh, son of Bishan Singh of Roop Nagar Digiana.
A case under FIR Number 135/2019 under section U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
