SRINAGAR, Apr 30: Three drug peddlers were arrested from Awantipora area of Pulwama district and charas was recovered from their possession.
A police spokesman said police intercepted a Bolero vehicle bearing registration number JK01X-5510 at Awantipora. “On its checking police recovered one kilogram of charas,” he said.
The spokesman said three people boarding the vehicle identified as Aadil Ahmad Wani, Mohammad Dilawar Wani and Ubaid Ahmad Bhat have been arrested.
He said a case under FIR number 55/2016 under Section 8/20 Act has been registered in this regard and further investigation is going on.
