SAMBA, Sept 22: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav criticized the dynastic rule of the Gandhi, Abdullah, and Mufti families for leading Jammu and Kashmir into political instability and uncertainty.
Speaking at election rallies in Ghagwal and Gurha Slathian, Yadav asserted that Jammu and Kashmir has undergone a transformation, especially after the abrogation of Article 370, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Yadav accused the three families of fostering misgovernance, prioritizing their personal interests over the State’s welfare, and depleting its treasury.
He stated that the prolonged rule by these families had created an environment of instability and corruption in the sensitive border region.
According to Yadav, Jammu and Kashmir has shifted from being a “terrorism hub” to a “tourism capital”, thanks to the BJP’s governance since 2019.
Highlighting the shift in public sentiment, Yadav remarked that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are now fully aware of the actions of these dynastic parties and are ready to hold them accountable.
He also condemned their affection for Pakistan, which, he claimed, has consistently threatened the unity and integrity of India.
Yadav praised Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to the development and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir, stressing that the region has seen significant improvements in peace, harmony, and development.
He credited the abrogation of Article 370 for bringing stability and emphasized that the BJP is determined to hold these nepotistic parties accountable for the harm they caused.
Expressing confidence that the BJP will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir, Yadav assured that all regions, irrespective of religion or caste, would benefit from fair development and job opportunities.
BJP candidate for Samba, Surjeet Singh Slathia, also addressed the rallies, highlighting the achievements in Jammu and Kashmir under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
The rallies were attended by prominent BJP leaders, including District president Amar Singh, Mandal president Brijpal Singh, and DDC Suresh Kumar Sharma.
