Three electrocuted

JAMMU, Aug 5: Three persons including an electrician of MES were injured in two separate incidents of electrocution.
According to a police spokesperson, an electrician of MES identified as Janak Raj (60) son of Shiv Ram, a resident of Lale-da-Bagh was injured when he came in contact with a live wire while repairing a power line falling under the jurisdiction of police station Domana.
Two labourers engaged in the work of erecting electric poles at Malik Market, Narwal also received electric shocks when they inadvertently came in contact with a live wire. The injured labourers were identified as Nazeer Ahmed and Mohd Abbas.
All the three injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
