Three gamblers nabbed with over 90,000 stake money

JAMMU, Sept 19: Narwal police arrested three gamblers from Fruit Market, Narwal and recovered Rs 92,000 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Narwal Police Post conducted a raid in Fruit Market, Narwal and arrested three gamblers.
The accused have been identified as Rishi Kumar, son of late Sansar Chand of Sarwal, Bansi Lal, son of Krishan Lal of New Plot and Yash Paul, son of Amir Nath of Akhnoor.
Police recovered Rs 92,000 stake money and playing cards from their possession.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Narwal Police Post and investigation started.
Police team headed by Incharge Police Post Narwal SI Nayat Ali made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
