MENDHAR, Nov 10: Three people were held today by Mendhar police for illegal sale of liquor.
According to a police spokesman, on specific inputs that illegal sale of liquor was being done from a restaurant namely ‘Shah Bar and Restaurant’ located at BG, which was closed by the authorities concerned on December 23, 2015, a police team conducted a raid and detained the manager of Shah Bar and Restaurant and two Bihari labourers.
“Police is investigating the matter and questioning the detained accused after which a case will be registered”, he added.
