KISHTWAR, Aug 30: Police arrested three persons and rescued 17 bovine animals from their illegal possession.
In a tip of on the intervening night of August 29 and 30, Chatroo Police arrested three persons namely Farooq Ahmad son of Abdul Rashid, Aijaz Hussain son of Ghulam Ahmed and Danish Ahmad son of Irshad Ahmad, all residents of Rahalthal and rescued 17 bovine animals from their possession which were being smuggled by them during midnight in Passerkoot area.
In this connection a case FIR No 44/2015 has been registered at police station Chatroo under relevant Sections of law.
The arrests were made by a police party headed by Inspector Ravi Kant under the close supervision of Sanjay Parihar, SDPO Chatroo and Abdul Qayoom, ASP Kishtwar and overall supervision of Yougal Manhas, SP Kishtwar.
