JAMMU, July 11: Three individuals were arrested with 34 grams of heroin from Bajalta area here today.
A police official said that a team of Police Post Sidhra led by SI Mohammad Bashir while on naka duty at Bajalta Morh in the jurisdiction of Police Post Sidhra rounded up three suspects, later identified as Fasal Nazir of Batmaloo, Srinagar, Adnan Rasool of Qamarwari, Srinagar, and Basit Ahmed of Qamarwari, Srinagar for their search.
“34 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of the trio by the search party,” he said.
Accordingly, the accused have been booked in case FIR number 197/2024 under sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Nagrota and further investigation started into the matter, added the police official.
