Srinagar, Nov 14: P0olice today said that a residential house of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh son of Ama Sheikh, at Dodhwang, Dooru, Anantnag, was engulfed in fire, which also spread to other nieghbouring houses.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in the residential house of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh son of Ama Sheikh, at Dodhwang, Dooru, Anantnag, and engulfed adjacent houses of Abdul Rashid Sheikh and Mohammad Akram Malik in which Middle School Dodhwang was also functioning resulting in damage to the houses.
Fire also broke out during the intervening night of Wednesday in a shopping complex at Gousia Market, Bandipora, resulting in damage to eight shops in the upper storey of the shopping complex.
Police said no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
