Three injured as Tavera rolls down

RAMBAN, Oct 18: Three persons were injured when the Tavera car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Shalgari Chamalwas area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway today morning.
As per police sources, a Tavera car bearing registration number PB01-5574 was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into gorge near Shalgari Chamalwas area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting into injuries to three persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of NGO Banihal volunteers.
The injured persons were rescued and shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where their condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
The injured persons were identified as Lal Khan, son of Gowher Ali, Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Hussain and Sarfaraz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Rafiq, all residents of Uri District Baramulla.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
