JAMMU, May 3: In separate cases, three persons were injured today due to electrocution in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a labourer identified as Samta Sahu (32) wife of Ganesh Ram, resident of Chhattisgarh (at present residing in RS Pura) sustained serious injuries due to electric shock while working at a construction site in RS Pura.
Another labourer namely Dharmender (30) son of Dhani Ram, resident of Chhattisgarh (at present living in Belicharana) came in contact with an electric wire while working on a roof top of a house. As result, he fell down and became unconscious.
A youth namely Vijay Singh (20) son of Govind Singh, resident of RS Pura, also injured after he came in contact with an electric wire at his residence.
All the three victims were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
