Three injured in road accidents

JAMMU, May 23: Three persons including a Head Constable of J&K police were injured today in two separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a speeding car this morning rammed into the parapet of Jammu-Akhnoor road at Patoli in the jurisdiction of police station Domana. In the mishap, two occupants of the car identified as Makhan Lal (80) son of late Sunder Dass and Renu Devi (38) wife of Ramesh Kumar, both residents of Ward No 7, Rajouri, were injured.
Another mishap occurred near Vikram Chowk naka, where a motorcyclist identified as Head Constable Mohd Sadiq (40) son of Noor Baksh, resident of Kishtwar (at present Sidhra), sustained injuries when his two-wheeler was hit by a speeding car. The cop was presently posted as a driver with MLC Ajatshatru Singh.
All the three injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
