Three killed in road accidents

JAMMU, Feb 15: At least three people were killed in separate road accidents in Jammu Province on Wednesday, police said.
A police spokesperson said that one Mozin Hamid (25) son of Hamid Malik of Doda was injured in a road accident at Samroli on February 11, 2023.
“He was referred to GMC Jammu where he breathed his last today,” said the police spokesperson.
In another accident today, he said, one Kesar Chand (73) son of late Garib Dass of Gujaroo Nagrota, Kathua was injured after he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Asia Chowk, Jammu.
“He also succumbed to his injuries at Medical College Jammu,” the police spokesperson further said.
“One Vikash Gupta (54) son of Vishwanath Gupta of Greater Kailash Jammu was admitted in the Medical College after the scooty he was riding on was hit by a truck at Sunjwan near Army Gate, Jammu,” the police spokesperson said, adding, “he too didn’t respond to the treatment at the hospital at around 5:07 am today”.
Police have registered cases under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigations.
