JAMMU, Oct 31: Three persons including a young woman today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences in outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
According to police sources, a woman namely Ekta (23) wife of Vipan Kumar, resident of Akhnoor, today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
Similarly, two youth identified as Rohit Sharma (23) son of Harjeet Lal, resident of Roop Nagar and Sunny Singh (25) son of Shamsher Singh, resident of Shant Nagar (Janipur), also consumed some poisonous substances at their respective residences. Both were admitted to GMCH Jammu.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
