Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Oct 11: Three persons of a family were injured after they were assaulted by a group of people at Mehmoodpur area of Bishnah Town here today. A police spokesperson said that Rampal (70) son of Karam Chand, his two sons Govind Kumar and Vijay Kumar, all residents of Mehmoodpur, Bishnah, were injured after they were assaulted by their neighbours over an old animosity around 12 Pm. Soon after police got the information, the injured were rushed to a local hospital in Bishnah from where they were referred to Government Medical College Jammu for advanced treatment. Acting on the written complaints, Police in Bishnah have registered counter FIRs against both the parties involved in the dispute.
