Three officers to get ‘Unnat Bharat Sewa Shri Awards’

JAMMU, June 14: Three officers of the State have been selected to be honoured with ‘Unnat Bharat Sewa Shri’ award, which will be conferred upon him in the Lok Sabha Speaker Hall of VP House, Delhi.
These awards are being conferred every year to the persons for special achievements in various fields.
This year, Chief Executive Officer of J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board, Ravinder Singh and Retired State Director, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, BR Chauhan will be awarded for giving a new direction to the rural youth in establishing their own income generating units, a release of Rashtriya Kissan Sanghthan said.
The third award would be conferred for peacefully carrying out the religious pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath in the State under the direction of Governor NN Vohra and his secretary, Naveen K Choudhary.
