Three thieves arrested, stolen items recovered

JAMMU, Nov 3: Chatha and Gadigarh Police arrested three thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
As per official sources, on October 22 this year, a complaint was lodged regarding theft of scooty bearing Registration Number JK02BF-2826.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 201/2022 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Chatha led by PSI Saddam Hussain under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Sameer Jillani, SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma put in hectic efforts and finally apprehended the thief, who was identified as Sunny Bali, son of Madan Lal Bali of Jagti Nagrota, at present Toph Sherkhani District Jammu.
On his disclosure, the above said scooty was recovered. During further questioning, three more stolen two wheelers were recovered.
Meanwhile, on October 17 this year, a complaint regarding theft of 10 tolas gold and Rs 2.50 lakh cash was lodged with police and accordingly a case FIR Number 195/2022 under Sections 454 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Satwari.
To work out the case, a team from Police Post Gadigarh led by SI Ravinder Singh was constituted under the supervision of SHO Satwari Sameer Jillani, SDPO South Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally arrested two thieves, who were identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Amarnath of Gadigarh and Gurmeet Singh, son of Kulwant Singh of Digiana.
On their disclosure, the stolen items were recovered.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
