Three vehicles carrying bovine animals seized, 2 arrested

JAMMU, Mar 16: Nagrota and Pacca Danga Police seized three vehicles carrying bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar laid a naka and intercepted two vehicles bearing registration numbers HP38F-7222 and JK02BU-1848.
During checking, police team rescued 9 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested one person, who was identified as Wasim, son of Abdul Rehman of Bharat Nagar District Udhampur.
Cases under FIR Numbers 104/2022 and 105/2022 under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation initiated.
Meanwhile, Pacca Danga Police seized a vehicle carrying bovine animals illegally and arrested the driver.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Pacca Danga during checking at Manda intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CB-6307.
During checking, police team rescued four bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Boshu Mohammad, son of Mohammad Hanif of Sarthala Kote Arnas District Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 31/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Inspector Raghubir Singh seized the vehicle carrying bovines and arrested the driver under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa.
