SRINAGAR, Feb 2: Three weeks Entrepreneurs Develop-ment Programme for young entrepreneurs organized by JKEDI, Kupwara concluded at Tourist Reception Centre, Kupwara. 51 registered youth participated in the programme.
On the concluding programme, the District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara Khalid Jahangir participated as chief guest while as the Joint Director Planning (CPO), Kupwara, District Information Officer, Kupwara and JKEDI, Kupwara authorities besides all registered youth undergone training were present in the function at TRC, Kupwara.
The JKEDI, Kupwara briefed the chief guest about the activities carried out by the organization for youth of the district at different levels. While interacting with the young entrepreneurs the DDC expressed his satisfaction over the programmes carried out by the JKEDI Kupwara in collaboration with District Administration for betterment of the youth to establish their own income generating units through the financial and technical assistance of the organization.
DDC exhorted upon the EDI authorities in general and the youth associated with the organization in particular to work with zeal, devotion, passion mode and dedication to improve the dignity ability besides work to contribute for society and follow up the rules and regulations aimed at to establishing their own income generating units under the guidelines of the JKEDI norms devised by the Government. He directed the JKEDI Kupwara authorities to conduct more training camps and register 500 youth in a year.
