UDHAMPUR, June 11: Senior Congress leader and Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) State secretary, Sumit Magotra, today said that the present Union Government has failed in all fronts and delivering even basic amenities to the people.
He was addressing the congress activists during a protest rally organized to condemn the celebration of three-year rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The rally begins from Dhar road near State Bank of India and culminated at Slathia Chowk.
Magotra said it is unfortunate that BJP is celebrating misrule of present Union Government of India led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has failed on all fronts and delivered to the people. Lambasting the Government, Magotra disclosed that militancy in Kashmir is on peak and stone pelters are targeting security forces on daily basis.
He further said that common man is frustrated due to the increasing prices of commodities and poverty is increasing day by day. “Our Foreign Policy is totally failed because America and Russia are pressuring India to hold talks with Pakistan while China is violating the International laws by crossing our borders”, he added.
The Congress leader said that BJP people are shameless and celebrating their failures as an achievement by befooling the people.
