Thymol weakens on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Dec 7: In restricted activity, thymol prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on the thymol prices.
Thymol prices fell by Rs 5 to conclude at Rs 1,030 per kg.
Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down thymol prices on the wholesale chemical market here.
