Thymol weakens on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Feb 8: Thymol prices fell by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on reduced offtake by consuming industries amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on the prices.
It fell by Rs 10 to conclude at Rs 940 per kg.
Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down thymol prices at the wholesale chemical market here.
