Tight price movements in pulses in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Mar 19:  There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market today with prices moving in a narrow range on little doing and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices at previous levels.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 9,200-11,500, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 10,000-10,200, Urad best Rs 10,100-10,700, Dhoya Rs 10,500-10,900, Moong Rs 7,100-7,650, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,550-7,950,Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,950-8,450 and best quality Rs 8,450-8,650.
Masoor small Rs 5,000-5,400, bold Rs 5,150-5,450, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,800-6,300, best quality Rs 5,900-6,400, Malka local Rs 5,950-6,450, best Rs 6,050-6,450, Moth Rs 5,500-5,900, Arhar Rs 7,900, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,100-12,800.
