SRINAGAR, Jan 1: The Forest Department, in coordination with the Forest Protection Force, today seized illicit timber measuring 55 CFT in Jalsheri village, located in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The Forest Department reiterated its commitment to combating illegal timber operations.
“The general public is urged to report any suspicious activities. Strict action will be taken under the provisions of the Forest Act,” authorities added.
