Time to end injustice by three generations of NC: Kavinder

JAMMU, Sept 7: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has strongly criticized NC leader Omar Abdullah, over his recent remarks on the execution of 2001 Parliament attack convict, Afzal Guru.
Kavinder, in a strongly worded statement issued here today, lashed out at Omar Abdullah, questioning his stance on the matter. “After all, what does Omar Abdullah aim to achieve? If anti-national elements, who conspired against the country, are given the death penalty, why does he object? His words seem to suggest that the NC is more interested in taking support from terrorist elements than in standing with the nation. It is this mindset that aligns with the INDI alliance’s approach, backing those who are against India’s unity and integrity,” he said.
Expressing concern over Omar Abdullah’s desperate plea for votes in his own constituency ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Kavinder remarked, “Omar is now begging for votes from his own people. If three generations of the NC could not satisfy the needs of their own constituency, it is evident that the Party’s interest was never to serve the people. They have failed the region for decades.”
The senior BJP leader also stressed that it is time for the people of J&K to rise and put an end to the decades of injustice and misrule by the NC. “The people deserve better. It is time to break free from the shackles of NC’s political dynasty, which has only prioritized its own agenda over the welfare of the common man.”
The former Deputy Chief Minister appealed to people of J&K to support the BJP’s vision of development and progress in the Assembly polls, ensuring that J&K finally receives the justice and governance it deserves.
