JAMMU, Sept 27: Tiny Tots School, Branch Jammu City, today organised inter-section and class wise Science and General Knowledge Quiz Competitions.
The competitions were organised to test the sharpness and recollection power of stored knowledge of the students. The event was to encourage and motivate the students to be aware of their surroundings and what was happening around them and in the world as a whole.
The Quiz was organised for higher classes. The Quiz master for the Science quiz was Rajesh, faculty of science while Raj Kumar and Sukhleen were the Quiz masters for GK Quiz.
Each round of the quiz was truly innovative and engrossing. All participants were enthusiastic and excited as the competition went on neck to neck.
The class wise first two toppers in Science and GK were Daanyal Ahmad and Saima Shakeel (Class 10th) , Pupinder Kour and Sana Khan (Class 9th), Sana Rafi and Izna Qurashi (Class 8th), Hardik Krishan and Amanjeet Singh (Class 7th) and Sehrish Shakeel as well as Atteeb Tabish (Class 6th).
Veena Handa, principal of the school, lauded the efforts put in by the students and the faculty members. She said that such competitions not only sharpen the brain of the students but also make them self- confident.
