RAMBAN, Oct 16: Helper of a Tipper lost his life while the driver sustained critical injuries here today when their vehicle fell in a deep gorge.
As per reports the Tipper bearing registration number JK13D/9799 was driven by one Bahar Ahmed Daing, 30, son of Ghulam Rasool Daing, resident of Tajnihal Tehsil Ramsoo along with his helper Sahid Anwar Katoch, 19, son of Mohd Anwar Katoch, resident of Halwagon, Tehsil Ramsoo.
The ill fated vehicle was on its way from Batoo (Neel) and was moving towards Perandhar in rash and negligent manner with over speed and when it reached Harwardi Nalla the driver lost control over the vehicle which fell in a 150-200 feet deep gorge leaving the helper and the driver critically injured.
Police with the help of locals shifted the injured to PHC Ukhral.
However, helper Sahid Anwar Katoch was declared brought dead while the driver was undergoing treatment at PHC Ukheral.
Police has taken cognisance of the incident.
