TJAC deputation calls on DSEJ, highlights demands

JAMMU, Feb 17: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), led by its president Vinod Sharma, called on Director School Education Jammu Anuradha Gupta in her office chamber and highlighted burning issues of the teachers.
The deputation demanded conversion of all eligible RRETs to teachers grade II as well as teachers grade III including those having acquired qualifications from outside recognized universities/boards (in whose favour verifications/ bona-fide of concerned universities / required affidavits are attached with the files) as these teachers are without salary for last more than one year and suffering badly.
JKTJAC also demanded finalization of regularisation lists of ReTs whose files are in the office of DSEJ, release of salary in favour of teachers whose conversions are kept pending due to adverse CID reports as they are without salary for last one year.
The Director, after giving a patient hearing to the deputation, assured to convert all eligible RRETs to teachers grade II and teachers grade III and also to finalize the regularisation lists of ReTs at the earliest. She also assured to resolve all other issues raised by JKTJAC leaders.
The deputation comprised of Saleem Sagar, Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Rajesh Jamwal, Ravinder Singh, Subash Chander, Rajeet Singh, Bhupinder Gupta, Rashpal Singh and others.
