JAMMU, Dec 8: A meeting of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) was held here today under the chairmanship of Rajinder P. Kakkar, TNWS president where different problems of the Society were discussed.
Speakers in the meeting raised the issue of car parking. They also demanded reconstruction of underpass road from Sector 4 & 5 to Extension Trikuta Nagar upto Bharat Petrol Pump with proper concrete material and solid drain system, as in every rainy season this underpass gets damaged.
They said that all lanes of Trikuta Nagar colony should be reconstructed by lock tiles from drain to drain and provision of solar system street lights to establish a smart colony.
“JMC blacktopped lanes with patch work which was of substandard quality and all the Nallah flowing through Trikuta Nagar should be protected by fencing with wire mesh to prevent garbage throwers,” they maintained further demanding installation of hoardings showing penal action to those disposing garbage into the Nallah.
Dr. T.R Gupta, O.P Sharma, K.K Mahajan, Ravinder Kaul, Ashok Kumar Arora, Vijay Gupta, Amarjeet Singh, Krishan Lal Gupta and others were also present in the meeting.
