JAMMU, Nov 24: A medical camp organised by Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS), was held here today.
The event was graced by Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner, State Chairman of the Indian Yoga Association and President of Vichar Kranti Manch International, as the Chief Guest.
Rajinder Kakkar, President of TNWS, presided over the function with the blessings of A. K. Arora, TNWS Patron.
The camp was led by Dr. Nikhil Mahajan, MD, Dr N B (Medanta), Advanced GE Fellowship (Meerut & China), an internationally renowned Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist.
Dr. Mahajan offered valuable guidance to the participants on dietary habits and lifestyle choices for maintaining a healthy gut.
During the camp, he examined 48 patients and provided specialized treatment and advice.
The event coincided with the 70th birthday celebration of Rajinder Kakkar, TNWS president and president of Transport Nagar Automobile Association.
Dr. Jain composed and presented a life sketch of Kakkar, highlighting his contributions and achievements.
Attendees extended their heartfelt wishes for Kakkar’s healthy, happy and purposeful life. Dr. Jain also shared tips for a long and healthy life with the audience.
Among others who graced the event included Vijay Gupta, Sandeep Sharma, Dr T R Gupta, N K Bali, Krishan Lal Gupta, Shailja Gupta, Rama Jamwal and Rajni Malhotra.
