RAJOURI, Jan 15: Six persons including a toddler were injured in accident at Bathian area on Rajouri-Thanamandi road today evening.
As per reports, one Ecco vehicle bearing registration number JK11A-4597 on its way from Rajouri to Thanamandi when the driver lost control over it and the vehicle met with accident at Bathian near grid station, resulting into injuries to six persons including a toddler.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured were rescued and shifted to GMC Rajouri, where their condition was stated to be stable when reports last came in.
The injured were identified as Zamar Mehmood (10), son of Khalid Mehmood of Bathian, Khalid Mehmood (50), son of Maqbool Hussain of Bathian, Saresh Mehmood (21), wife of Wajaid Hussain of Kote Behrote, Wajaid Hussain (30), son of Barket Hussain of Kote Behrote, Mamona Rani (56), wife of Khalid Mehmood of Bhatian and Mai (toddler), daughter of Wajaid Hussain of Bhatian.
Concerned police has taken cognizance in this regard.
