JAMMU, Mar 14: Two-day Hindi-cum-Computer Training Programme organized by Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Jammu, in Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), concluded here today.
Dr Ram Vishwakarma, Chairman, TOLIC and Director, IIIM, was the chairperson of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishwakarma asserted that Hindi language is must for the development of the country. He announced that Technical website of Hindi will be implemented soon.
He also released a CD on Unicode and distributed among the participants.
Dr Mahesh Chandra Gupta, Member of Advisory Board of Science and Technology, New Delhi, and Srikrishna Nirmal, Education Officer, New Delhi, shared their ideas with the participants.
Amit Kumar, IT Manager, PNB Jammu, and Kamlesh Singh, IT Division, IIIM Jammu, gave slide presentations on Unicode implementation and its uses.
Participants from various Central Government offices, banks and corporations participated in the programme. On the concluding day today, participants were provided with participation certificates and mementos by Chief Scientist, IIM Jammu, Dr RK Raina and other dignitaries.
