KATHUA, Oct 28: Toll Post Lakhanpur, in association with Amandeep Hospital, Pathankot organized a free medical checkup camp for the patients ailing from different diseases.
Dr Suresh Koul (Cardiology), Dr Surinder Kumar (Medicine), Dr Rashmi Sammi (Gynae), Dr Qayoom Khan (Neuro) and Dr Navjot Singh (Ortho) from Amandeep Hospital, Pathankot provided their services in the camp.
In addition to that, free blood test and ECG were also conducted by the medical team from Amandeep Hospital. More than 300 patients attended the medical camp. Most of patients examined were locals and drivers. The patients were also provided free of cost medicines.
It is pertinent to mention here that the free medical check camp was first of its kind at the Toll Post. In future, more such free medical checkup camps shall be organized at this Toll Post, told the Deputy Excise Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan.
