R S PURA, Apr 16: Senior AAP leader and DDC Member from Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony today asserted that only AAP can ensure all round development in J&K.
He was addressing a gathering after kick-starting road work along with protection walls at village Bokri in Suchetgarh. Tony said, “With start of this development work, AAP has ensured that another village along the border gets a macadamized road as already many villages have been provided with road infrastructure by the pragmatic initiatives taken by AAP leadership”.
He said that it was decades old demand which has been fulfilled today as the people are claiming that they are not believing what their eyes are seeing as they have lost hope that someday this road will also be taken up for black-topping. Tony assured that Suchetgarh is likely to witness development at a faster pace in the coming phase as this is just the beginning.
“We will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the demands of people of the area”, he maintained, adding that the other demands put forth by Sarpanch Akshay Kumar will be taken up with authorities concerned to ensure early start of the projects.
Sarpanch Akshay Kumar said that since Independence no political party gave attention towards this road and it is the AAP leadership which has taken up the cause and today the work is underway to provide succour to the people of this border hamlet.
Ranjit Singh Goldy, Panch Somnath, Panch Bawa Ram, Vicky Choudhary and Balkishan Bhagat were also present on the occasion besides others.
