RS PURA, June 18: Taranjit Singh Tony, District Development Council (DDC) Member of Suchetgarh, reiterated his unwavering commitment to uplifting the downtrodden, promoting social justice, and enhancing the overall development of the common masses.
Speaking at a meeting in Village Khamb, RS Pura, Tony outlined his vision for transforming RS Pura South into a model constituency.
He emphasized the urgent need to address the issues faced by marginalized communities.
“My primary objective is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every section of society, particularly those who have been historically disadvantaged,” he stated.
“We must work together to build an inclusive society where every individual has equal opportunities and access to resources.”
He highlighted his comprehensive vision for the RS Pura South constituency, which includes improving infrastructure, healthcare, education and economic opportunities.
Tony stressed the importance of community participation in the development process, advocating for a collaborative approach where local voices are heard and respected.
“Our goal is to develop RS Pura South into a model constituency that sets an example for others to follow. This requires a concerted effort from all stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and civil society organizations,” Tony remarked.
“We will prioritize sustainable development practices that not only address current needs but also ensure a better future for coming generations.”
Expressing serious concern over rising drug addiction among youth, Tony assured the establishment of drug de-addiction centers across the RS Pura South constituency to combat this issue.
He also called for unity among the people to stand against anti-social elements aiming to divide communities.
Later, scores of youth, including Davinder Kumar, Panch of Village Khamb, Ramesh Lal, Bishan Lal, Madan Lal, and others, joined the Congress Party.
