Speaking on the occasion, the TS Tony referred to the significance of minority votes in the upcoming Parliamentary and Assembly elections in J&K whenever held. He said that there are 5.5 lakh Jat voters and 1.5 lakhs Sikh voters in Jammu Parliamentary constituency alone and these voters have full potential of turning the table against BJP candidates.
He said that the people in general and Sikhs, Jats and refugees in particular are already fed up with the incumbent Government as it has been persistently following the anti-people policies. He said that the party foot soldiers already present among the people in the aforesaid constituency need to further gear up their efforts and expose the misgovernance by the Govt of which Jats and Sikhs are the worst victims today.
