SUCHETGARH, Apr 29: Senior AAP leader and DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony has urged Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha to formulate a result oriented strategy under a meticulously tailored policy so that the fight against drugs in J&K reaches logical conclusion.
He said that this fight needs to be strengthened at grass root level for which it is necessary that the administration involves Panchayat Raj Institutions ensuring their proactive participation for eradicating the menace of this social evil once for all.
In a handout Tony also made a fervent appeal to the society at large to come forward and join the crucial war against drug abuse.
Referring specifically to life consuming drug Chitta, the AAP leader said that it is high time that we must come out to the forefront and instead of constructing religious places we must construct rehabilitation centres to save our youth.
