Top Army Commanders review security situation

JAMMU, Sept 4: Western Army Command chief Philip Campose, on a two-day visit to Jammu, reviewed the security situation along the border with Pakistan in the winter capital today.
Lt Gen Campose, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Army Command, reviewed the security situation in Jammu with top Army Commanders, a Defence spokesman said.
The Lt Gen interacted with the Brigade Commanders and senior officers at the Jammu Garrison.
Maj Gen Ashwani Kumar, General Officer Commanding, Tiger Division, briefed the Army Commander about the state of the general situation and defence preparedness.
He also assured the Army Commander that the focus of the Tiger Division was to continuously enhance its operational efficiency without compromising on improvement of standards of iving of troops and their families.
