Jammu, Apr 8: Touch Stone Institute of IT & Management, Rehari Colony celebrated its Annual Day with pomp and show, here today.
The programme was chaired by Bansi Lal Pandita, chairman of the Institute.
The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, followed by presentation of Sarswati Vandana by Ridhi Gupta and her group.
Students presented variety of cultural items, which included Dogri, Kashmiri and Punjabi dances, besides dances on English songs and skit on communalism.
The prize distribution ceremony was also held on the occasion and Laptops were distributed among the meritorious students. Ankita Jamwal got first position in meritorious students category, while in other categories, Sona and her group emerged winner in Punjabi group dance, Sumeer Broch and his group claimed title of the skit on Communalism.
Chairperson of the Institute, Neetu Pandita lauded the efforts of the students for their performances.
Finally, Coordinator, Ambica Rathore presented Annual Report of the Institute and delivered the vote of thanks.
