UDHAMPUR, Feb 15: With a view to develop tourism infrastructure at Patnitop and Sudhmahadev, a joint meeting of representatives of M/s Jones Lang Salle Property Consultants (India) Private Limited, New Delhi and district officers of line departments was convened under the chairmanship of Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal.
Chief Executive Officer, Patnitop Development Authority, Dr. Raman Kesar, Executive Engineers of PWD and PHE, Divisional Forest Officer, Udhampur, Representative of M/s Jones Lang Salle Property Consultants (India) Private Limited, Ankita Kothari and revenue officers attended the meeting.
Threadbare discussions to prepare execution strategy for implementation of projects identified as part of tourism circuits, rural tourism clusters and other schemes supported by Central and State Governments were held on the occasion.
The officers of different departments were instructed to initiate work for preparation of DPRs for the identified priority work sites at Sudhmahadev and Patnitop in consultation with the State Level Project Management Agency.
It was also decided in the meeting that a joint site visit of team of consultant and officers of line department would be conducted during the last week of February 2013 for development of identified priority work sites in an integrated manner. The forest clearance issues would also be taken up with the concerned departments for their early solution, the meeting told.
