Srinagar, Sept 10: A 40-year-old tourist was killed after a cloudburst struck famous tourist resort Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this afternoon.
A police official said the incident occurred at around 4:10 pm adjacent to Gulmarg Development Authority Club. In the incident, a tourist namely Muhammad Saleem Zaki, a resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP) came under the cloudburst, he said.
“Zaki was immediately evacuated to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival,” the official added.
