TR Gupta Trust holds free Medical Camp

JAMMU, Jan 29: The TR Gupta Public Charitable Trust organized a free Multi-specialty Medical Camp today at Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Sarvodaya School in Rajeev Nagar, Jammu. The camp aimed to provide healthcare services to the economically disadvantaged and socially backward families of the area. More than 530 patients benefited from the camp, receiving consultations and free medicines.
A team of eight senior doctors from various specialties volunteered at the camp, offering their expertise. The medical professionals included Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, former Head of the Paediatrics Department at SMGS Hospital of GMC, Jammu, Dr. Kuldeep Gubgotra, a senior physician, Dr. Ved Gupta, a physician and diabetologist, Dr. SS Padha, a senior bone and joint specialist, Dr. Surbhi Gupta, an eye specialist, Dr. Savir Gupta, a paediatrician, Dr. Abhinav Chawla and Dr. Kuldeep Lakhara, both dermatologists.
In addition to consultations, the camp provided free diagnostic services, including haemoglobin and blood sugar tests. Over 125 individuals availed these facilities, while ECGs were conducted on the advice of the attending doctors.
T.R. Gupta, the well-known nonagenarian Chairman of the Trust, expressed his best wishes for the success of the camp, even though he was unable to attend due to being out of Jammu. He remained in contact with Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, Trustee, and the main architect of the camp.
Other Trustees present included Er. Naresh Kumar Gupta, MM Gupta, KB Jandial, Kailash Langer, SK Sharma and Dr. Ashok Gupta thanked the school principal and staff for their cooperation in the smooth conduct of the camp. The Trust’s staff, including Raman Pargal, Manager, lab technologists Basharat Hussain and Sahil, pharmacist Ajay, Naresh, Pannu Ahirwal, and Rama Kant Sharma, ensured the camp ran efficiently.
