JAMMU, June 5: A tractor-trolley driver allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a tree in the agricultural field near his residence in Seri Kalan area of Nagrota.
As per police sources, 22-year-old Anil Kumar Sharma, son of Rattan Lal of Seri Kalan in Nagrota allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a tree in the agricultural field near his residence this afternoon. The victim was tractor-trolley driver by profession.
On getting information, police team led by SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Dansal hospital.
After completing legal formalities including autopsy, the body of the deceased will be handed over to family members for last rites tomorrow.
A case in this regard has been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
