POONCH, Nov 21: The cross LoC trade was resumed today at Chakkan-Da-Bagh with the operation of 16 trucks loaded with goods.
The operation had been suspended during last week after Pakistani firing in Poonch sector. As the cross LoC bus operated normally on Monday, today the trade activities were also witnessed at this cross LoC point in Poonch.
Official sources said that a total six trucks loaded with chilies, ginger and some other herbs crossed over to PoK side today. From PoK side, ten trucks loaded with herbs etc arrived here. TFO PP Singh and Custodian Poonch Tanveer Ahmed from Indian side and TFO Rawalakote (Pak side), Nahim Akhtar were deployed to facilitate the trade today.
