POONCH, May 30: Trade worth over Rs 67 lakh took place at Chakkan-da-Bagh cross LoC point in district Poonch today.
An official spokesman said that goods including almonds and dry dates worth Rs 34.77 lakh, loaded in four trucks arrived here from PoK side. Ten trucks, loaded with fruits and lemons worth Rs 32.5 lakh were sent to PoK by the traders from this side today. The gates were opened twice between 12.30 and 1 pm and then between 3.30 and 4 pm. Two officers, each from Pak and Indian side, were deputed to facilitate the trade.
