KATHUA, Nov 22: There was a huge traffic jam for two hours from Shaheedi Chowk to Main Chowk Kathua today putting people to many hardships.
The jam was only cleared after police swung into action and removed the vehicles parked on road side by slapping challans on the vehicle owners also.
The local people especially traders while expressing their resentment against the traffic jam said that it is a routine affair in the area as employees, bankers and other commuters visiting the area park their vehicles on road side as there is no parking slot in the area up to a long distance.
They said this is a routine problem and the authorities never bothered to settle the same.
